Welcome to LDL, I am the founder of Lande Dental Laboratory. I am pleased to share with you my journey that has brought you to our website today.

I was born in Vancouver, WA in 1943. I knew after I graduated from high school that I needed to find something I would enjoy and would be passionate about. I made the decision to pursue the career of a Dental Technician.

In 1963 I attend North Pacific Dental School, it was a two year course, and I graduated in 1965. Excited to pursue my dream, I started working with a few local doctors' right out of school. After struggling to provide the doctors' with the restorations expected, it was apparent that I needed more education. I was then drafted into the Army and spent two years as a Dental Technician in the Regional Dental Laboratory in Frankfurt, Germany. There I had the opportunity to work on hundreds of cases from soldiers all over Europe.


In 1968 with the education I needed, myself and an associate started BG Dental Laboratory, which was a full service laboratory. We leased a space from two prominent doctors', Dr. John Wagoner and Dr. Bob Quinn. Both had private practice as well as teaching positions at OHSU. What a wonderful experience it was to learn from them as well as see the restorations placed in patients' mouth.

In 1978 I bought out my associate and started Beaverton Dental Laboratory. I sold the business in 1982. In 1985 I started Ken Lande Dental Laboratory. I grew my business with my passion and commitment to build lasting relationships with my doctors as well as staffing qualified technicians.

In 1998 my son, Jeff Kramer and daughter-in-law, Monique Kramer joined the team with the same passion and desire to provide quality and service, and to be the next generation in the family owned, service obsessed business. Currently, Jeff is the Production Manager and Monique is the Business Manager.

In the Spring 2003, we expanded our facilities to provide the space needed to service our doctors, we relocated and expanded to a new state-of-the art facility. Our new laboratory includes a Milling Center, spacious production laboratory, conference room and a private room for patients to relax while having there custom work done chair side by our Cosmetic Specialist.

Today, as the dental industry continues to change at a rapid rate, as an owner in the business for 42 years, I can assure you that Lande Dental Laboratory will continue to anticipate changes in new technologies, provide the perfect blend of conventional methods as well as digital. We will continue to staff trained technicians that are passionate about the dental industry and understand the importance of fabricating consistent quality restorations. We will make available to you anytime our personal service.
